The Horse Shoe game

Playing Horse Shoes. Kyle put up the game and there was a couple of ringers and way more than one game. Kyle was really good at the ringers. Matt was really having a good streak for a while. Look how graceful they are flinging those horse shoes. Such style. Tate and Austin found different flowers and gave them to the mommies.

Just getting adjusted to the cabing and exploring all the fun around. The was a tire swing that ll the kids enjoyed. My parents also swung the kids around and also took them on hikes. We found the fire pit to do the weene roast and smores on. During the day it was a nice 75 degrees outside. Since here in Maricopa there isn't a lot of trees or places to hike Austin and Megan had a blast hiking and swinging and just being outside.

Diane and Jaylee Cabin

Another fun point to our vacation was going to Diane and Jaylee's cabin. It don't remember where the cabing was located but it was at least a 45 minute drive from Spanish Fork. There was no electricity and there was an out house. So for us to cook there was a generator. The out house was nice and big. The cabin was old but very functional and fun!!! It made me really appreciated what wonders electricity is and how much a take energy for granted. There were many things we did there and had a lot of fun with. My mom had the whole day and a half planned with family tee shirts, Scavenger hunt, weene roast, family skits, relay races, hikes. All the fun things I did when on vacation. Austin asked, "Where is the tv." I was actually embarrest because there was so much to do there outside. I think the hardest part was trying to get Orring to walk because there was so side walk to level walk to walk on unless being inside. That was really boring to be inside so I carried him around a lot!!!!

Craig, Sandra, my mom, my grandma, Matt, and I played card games at night and all the kids were able to go to sleep besides Orrin. I wasn't able to play until we brought up the play pen and put snacks and his blanket in there. He sat in there and watched tv and ate. Every once in a while he would stand up and make some noise just to tell us that he was still awake. I think he finally fell asleep at midnight. I thought he was so cute for being such a stinker and stying awake for so long.

When going glofing in Arizona we don't the luxury of seeing real wild life like this there. But since the boys got to go golfing Matt liked taking the camera to take pictures of deer who decided to watch them golf. My brother Kyle and dad usually won. Matt did pretty well. The scenery was beautiful so no wonder why they enjoyed going so often.

So my dad grew up in Spanish Fork, UT and he still has two brothers and a sister that live in Utah and his oldest sister Diane still lives in Spanish Fork. I has been a treat to see her and her family. My cousins are all older than I am becuase my dad is the baby of the family. My Aunt Diane is likes get togethers and she has a yard and all the fixing for a fun time. My uncle Jay's family did a fish pond and other games that the children wanted to do and they all had a great time. It was good to see my cousins and see their lives different and changed from their children and jobs. After all the bubbles, silly sting, food, Matt let me go to Glades. I loved going to Glades because of their yummy food. We took the food and usually went to see the nearest baseball game or just go to the park and play. Now I was just excited to get their milk shakes. It was a really fun time with Newitt family. I would enjoy it next year!!!

While in Utah

Megan is scared of any animals with four legs and Ross and Pam has many animals so needless to say she was on my dad's lap for quite a while.

While we were in Utah we stayed with my
Grandma Welch while Christian and his family stayed with my Ross and Pam in Alpine. The plan we to let the guys go golfing a couple of times. They used to go every day which didn't bother them but that didn't fly with with the women. So we allowed them to go three times. We love going to Utah because we could go outside any part of the day and guess what I wasn't super hot and the kids got tired easier. Boy that was a blessing beause there is a certain part of the day that the kids aren't able to go outside because of how hot it is outside. There was a park right across the street from my Grandma's house. So needless to say we went there a lot. Orrin loved goingdown the slide and the other kids liked playing tag around the jungle gym. This was also the first time I let Megan sleep somewhere other than a play pen or crib. We liked going over to Ross and Pam which has four floors.

Our Utah Trip

Austin went across the monkey bars with help from my dad. He said, "Boy mom that was hard work. Good thing I am a big boy."
Megan liked climbing up the rock wall and tried climbing up the ladder. My brother Kyle is helping her this time. Boy is it ever easier when they had help.
Orrin fell down so much that he liked plaing with the rubber chips and bouncing on them.

Sorry it has been so long since I got onto the blog. There has been that has happened since Matt's birthday. So here we go. Well after July was over we the Newitts decided to go to Utah for a family vacation. No we didn't fly we drove. We stopped in Kanab. This stop is a tradition with our family. We always go to certain places to get gas and milk shakes but this time was a little different because we all have more kids to take care of. So this time around we stopped at many parks to let the kids run to get all their energies out. This park that we stopped at seemed really new. The playground used this rubber and they cut them into chips that if a child went too fast on the slide that it cushioned their fall. Tate my nephew foudn that out when he slipped and said, "That was fun, we need to get this stuff." We really liked the splash pad their as well. We had lunch there and played for a while.

Matt's brithday

Sunday was Matt's birthday. Matt's parents came down for the occassion and went to church with us. After church we went home to start the party. The Jones family came over and we had BBQ beef, watermelon, baked beans, chips, and corn. Boy was it good to eat. Matt ended up gettng Rockband for the Wii. So we set it up and played for a while. Chuck was great on the drums with Hunter and Austin. Debbie did great as well. Sarah and Taylor did some good singing. Of course Matt played on the bass. At the end of the party Sarah found hair on the ground. Yes, Megan found the sicssors and cut the ends. She then went to Conner's hair and gave it a little trim. I was embarrest!!! Thanks to Chuck and Debbie for coming down and the Jones's for celebrating Matt's 31st.

Birthdays in July

We have lots of Birthdays in July. We celebrated all of them on Kyle's birthday, Saturday. It was fun. My mom's birthday was on the 17th, so all the girls went out for lunch on her birthday to the Rainforrest Cafe. We then went to do a little shopping and found some presents for Kyle's birthday. We had a fun time getting together. Friday, I took the kids over to Matt's work to surprise him with some treats. It was fun trying to surprise him and then took him to McDonalds for the kids to run around, Matt and Melissa Long came with us to join in on the fun!!! Saturday was the party and we all had fun but after a while the kids were acting so tired so thanks to all that was there and Matt's fun presents. Sorry I didn't have the camera with me.
